We are looking for a support specialist with 1+ years of office or clerical experience to join our team. This position is based out of Los Angeles, California.

Accountabilities

  • Completes forms, letters, and other communications. Sets up paper/electronic files and databases.
  • Processes incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Route internal/external inquiries to proper source
  • Responsible for administrative tasks such as expenses, maintaining supplies, assembling certified mail, copying, faxing, scanning and filing
  • May be called upon to perform additional duties as directed

Requirements

  • 1+ years of office/clerical experience
  • 1+ years of receptionist or customer service experience
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • High school degree or equivalent; college degree preferred

Skills

Do you have strong knowledge of office processes?

Overall knowledge of the claims handling and insurance industries; ability to read and understand legal documents.

Are you a problem solver?

Demonstrate the ability to explain simple and complex issues; make a plan, and then execute the plan; anticipate situations and mitigate proactively.

Are you a good communicator?

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service experience; excellent listening skills; professional oral and written communication skills to assist with the preparation and delivery of presentations.

Do you jump at the opportunity to learn and collaborate with colleagues?

Develop strong relationships with associates from within and outside the claims department; willingness to learn; assist with other tasks, if needed.
