Mr. Pennington joined the Carl Warren team in 2019. As the President of Carl Warren, Gordon Pennington has leadership responsibility for the Third-Party Administration services of the Company and ensuring our speed, accuracy and service exceeds client expectations. He previously served as Vice President of Claims of a national risk mitigation operation, , responsible for the successful resolution of claims generated from up to $400 million in premium annually. His responsibilities included the creation of program-specific claims processes, implementation, compliance, trend analysis and overall results across several complex lines of insurance. Gordon holds bachelor’s degrees in Business and Accounting from the University of LaVerne and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Theory and Development from California Lutheran University. He earned a professional designation of Senior Claims Law Associate through the American Education Institute. He is instrumental in the creation, and successful implementation of processes, and the communication of results and trends which has assisted business partners in driving results.
Mr. McAbee has been a Carl Warren employee since 1996 and has over 30 years of experience working in the claims industry. His experience includes starting a business specializing in products liability, errors & omissions, liquor liability, trucking claims and excess, and surplus lines specialty policies. With an extensive background in insurance business development, Mr. McAbee specializes in designing programs that are tailored to our client’s needs. He oversees both our Business Development and Marketing Departments. Mr. McAbee graduated from the University of Nebraska with degrees in Political Science, History & Economics and also received a fellowship for study at Presidential Institute at Mt. Rushmore. He is an active member of the National PRIMA Planning Committee, RIMS, STRIMA, URMIA, NAPSLO, and IACP.
Ms. King has over 25 years of professional experience within the claims and insurance industry. She is a versatile manager with career-long recognition for outstanding leadership and performance for developing and implementing claim process improvements. She manages Company initiatives that impact performance, quality, productivity, and to improve client satisfaction and profitability. Angelique received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and African American Studies. She is certified in Behavior-based Interviewing Techniques.
